"Frozen Assets" ice artists from Pueblo Colorado, created a beautiful tribute to Military and Police canines for the Oakland Maryland annual Winterfest 19-21 Feb 2010. Sponsored by Garrett Container Systems (GCS), the German Shepherd sculpture was in recognition of the increased dependence on the explosive sniffing dogs in support of military operations and public safety worldwide. The German Shepherd was created from two 100lb blocks of ice in about 8 hours. GCS is a key supplier of gear for work dog handlers and their dogs, offering their own line of TOP DAWG gear that includes items ranging from leashes & muzzles to canine armor & kennel systems.
